:picard::salute: That’s nice AF!!!!
Appreciate it breh.
That build took hours of research and experimenting with placement of different things.
That set up can go from handheld, to tripod, to gimbal, with no tools what so ever.
All it takes is flipping 3 latches to make the switch literally within 5 seconds.
It's set up with external timecode to sync with other cameras and audio recorders and sends a split sdi signal to the external monitor and over to a directors monitor.

That's pretty slick! There is definitely some trial and error for these gimbals. I've only had mine for a few months and have changed it more than a few times. I haven't even wandered down the path of recorders and timecode like you have.

Anybody shoot 135mm for portrait or street? Which model did you use? How did you like it?

I had the tamron 70-180 so I definitely shot at that focal length.

Loved the compression you get at that range. Got rid of it because my sigma 24-70 has better image quality and is more versatile.

I got a Rokinon/Samyang 135mm 1.8 for Sony. I like it, i need to use it more but shoots start getting a little clunky switching between that lens and other lenses. But i like it for that telephoto bokeh look.

I found some Sigma art 135 1.8’s for relatively cheap. Thinking about grabbing one.

I can’t justify it to my girl, but I can justify it to myself lol. I was originally wanting a 105 1.4 but the prices don’t come much lower than $900.

My FTZ II is already on the way lol

I been practicing with a Ricoh GRiii the last few months. Wanted to have a handy small camera for my upcoming travels to Cambodia and Vietnam.
Love the thing, but I have to get to know it better to really utilise it. The recipes make it so I don't have to learn to edit my shots just yet, makes it better to focus on finding good opportunities for shots.

I want one but they've been impossible to get for months.

I also shouldn't be spending $1000 on a a camera I don't plan to make money with :jbhmm:
