Dope!

What drone do you have? I need some big city architecture to film. I'll be in Miami next month so I plan on getting a lot of flight time in while I'm there.

I have a Mavic 2 Pro, always with me when I travel. Nice! Miami is on my list for drone shots, plenty of open airspace down near South Beach.

So we have been having major misfire/overheating issues with our Godox lights in studio and on location for the past year and a half. The last thing you want is to be on a corporate shoot and your lights start freaking out on you (very embarrassing). Made the move and Invested into Profoto lights and while light is light, these things are stupid easy to use and the build quality is solid. Looking forward to putting them to use here shortly and seeing how they work out on a shoot. Picked up a B10X, A2, A10, and Connect Pro. If it all works out I'll be selling our AD200 Pros, V1, and TT350. I'll probably keep our V860ii to use in a pinch in optical slave mode.

That being said, unless you're getting paid (very well) or are having issues stick with Godox/Elinchrom/FJ Westcott etc. for battery powered strobes. One of the big draws was being able to plug in the B10X since that will be our key light for all day shoots. If y'all have any questions about them let me know but at the end of the day they're just lights like the rest of the stuff out there.

I'm about to fukk around with TFP shoots on some Facebook groups I joined recently.

You got the drone license? I'm studying to get it so I can start doing more cityscapes without the FAA chewing me out.
No I don't. I fly recreationaly and I have a mini3pro(under 250 grams) so I don't have to register it either. I'll probably still get my license, tho since I plan upgrading to a bigger drone soon.

Question: i have a Sony A IV and I’m going to see Nas & Wu on Sunday but the venue says no professional cameras allowed. Should I chance trying to take my camera in or just stick with taking iPhone pics? I plan on just taking my 35mm lens since it’s very small and might give me a better chance of my camera not being labeled “professional “ by some security guard at the entrance.

If it’s not a pancake lens they probably take it, better off with a point and shoot
