my girl ended up coming with me so got stuck doing all these observation decks
Picked up a Canon RF100-400mm f/5.6-8 IS USM lens, very impressed I will say, a screaming deal at $600. Reviews have it as sharp, colorful, and all around as good as the RF100-500mm L version which is $2,900, a stop faster, and premium build quality. The IS works flawlessly at 400mm, no shake at all.
Also, I am late to the game of post editing wonder tools, my photo fam put me on to Luminar NEO sky software. Knocked me out my seat when he showed me what you can do with overcast days and pretty much any photo to add effects. First 2 shots below had gloomy, grey, overcast skies, Luminar has like 20 different sky presets to change it to whatever you want.
I could have hooked you up with luminar for free
but yeah luminar ai or neo is amazing I use it more than photoshop
