Definitely picking up the A7IV
Sony checked off damn near every box for making the ideal hybrid camera with the IV.
Consistent negatives that everyone has talked about in these videos is the 1.5x crop in 4K/60 mode and the rolling shutter being bad. They purposely held back in those areas because if those were Siii level nobody would cop the Siii unless they wanted 4K/120fps

i honestly don't understand why they don't just kill off the A7s series and just put more shyt in the A7 series. 
Like the A7s cameras can't possibly be that much of a revenue stream, can it?
And the a7iv doesn't look like it's worth the upgrade for a7iii users. hopefully them 3's drop to a ridiculous price i so i can get a backup.

Trying to decide if I want to hold on to the 3 as a backup or sell it and upgrade to one of the R bodies to get more coverage.

I’ve been watching all of these early reviews of the A7IV today and I’m trying to convince myself to sell my A7III and get one, but I’m struggling a little bit trying to justify dropping $2,500 for one of these.
The video upgrades are real nice, new menus, flippy screen, etc.. but for what I need it for, the A7III still meets my needs and then some. They almost made the A7III too good.
If you don't shoot much video, it's a harder sell.
I'm a jaded about the 4k/60 crop as the only thing the A7iii is missing is being about to shoot in that framerate. They haven't made a true FF hybrid camera at this price point in years. I do wonder what they price the III now. It may not even get a price drop low-key

I’ve watched about 10 videos and I can see your point. The a7iii is still top notch bad ass camera and can prolly do everything you want it to.
Sony really came through and crushed the buildings with the hybrid shyt. If you watch 4 year old videos from all the topdog youtubers they all shot Nikon

, those weddings esp the traditional ones last forever. They have big wedding parties, the entrances when the parties come down the aisle takes forever, the receptions are 
though when the music and dancing and money being thrown in the airplus there are always so many beautiful women
I think only Indian weddings top nigerians in term of pomp
