Anyone dabble with volume school photography? Like with sports teams and school events?

The amount of money is that is RIDICULOUS.

Think about it, lets say you shoot a school dance and offer print package the cheapest being $25 for a couple prints and a couple digitals. Let's say you have 150 people buy prints or buy digitals.

150 x $25 = 3,750, you slide the PTA 15% or something so that's like $550, slide your assistant $250 for 2 hours of work that's $3k you walk with then subtract the cost of prints, I have a Canon Pro 10 that spits out high quality but you can use a lab and probably walk away minus the cost of printing with $2300 roughly for minimal work. Do that for a few different school events for a couple schools...

Then there's sports teams...the profit margin there is even larger.
I've done some work with schools before, but the images were used for promotional use for their websites, not print packages.

It was 4 schools total, 1 school I stood in during a few classes and captured the kids and teachers interactions/candid stuff. And then for the other 3 I just covered their graduations, focusing mainly on excitement of the day, some of the speakers and the students interactions with their parents.

Netted like 2400 or 2600 all together.
