The sigma art lenses and these aperture 120d mkii have been the biggest level ups I have ever seen in my work. Instant night and day difference between shooting with lower end gear and this. DO NOT sleep on high quality glass and light sources.
If you get a sigma art lens canon mount you can get the sigma adapter for the Sony, put the Sony in 6k mode and essentially still have that 105mm reach. That’s what I do with my Sony A7riii. I use my canon mount sigma art lenses. I only have one Sony lens (the 16-35 g master). The sigma adapter on the Sony works incredibly well. Autofocus performs like native glass.I was just sitting here thinking about selling my Sony 24-105 F/4 and getting that new Sigma 24-70 F/2.8 for my A7III. I shot a baby shower this weekend and could’ve used that 2.8 on the Sigma. The Sony is a really good lens, but I might be able to sacrifice the telephoto end for a faster lens with better IQ.

The video quality on that is superb as hell, buts its something about that bokeh quality i get from the sigma, man that lens is magical24-70 my opinion. Get more usage with the extra range.
Im about to upgrade and the whispers are dslr is obsolete and mirrorless is the only way from here
- had no idea there was already a photography thread
Dslrs aren't obsolete, but there will probably only be 2 more dslrs released by Canon and Nikon respectively.Im about to upgrade and the whispers are dslr is obsolete and mirrorless is the only way from here
