how you like the FE? was thinking bout coping one next month
youd be surprised what this camera can do. Simple to operate ,very well made. Feels snap shot like,compared to my n2000 only because that camera is self winding compared to the FE ,though you can buy a motor drive for is which im gona do eventually.

All in all its a good camera.

Looks like we'll have a commercial location within the next couple days and have it officially open for business by the end of October. :blessed:
Got the grand tour of the spot this afternoon and on Wednesday we're going to hammer out the business details.
Also, we got booked for another Navy training video gig this year and this time they're flying us out to San Diego (from Virginia Beach) to shoot the videos. God is great.

Did you happen to have/try the Crane 2? That's what I have and I wonder if it's worth it to sell and upgrade. shyt gets heavy as hell and that extra handle looks good
Yeah I still own the crane plus and the crane 2.
The crane 2 is dope but IMO the crane 3 is a huge improvement. The extra handle is amazing to go from upright shots to low shots. The max payload is like 10lbs if I recall correctly. The joy stick works very well for panning shots. If you can afford it go for it. I don’t regret getting the crane 3 at all.

Update: hammered out the business details for the business location. Everything is good to go. I was just in there with my business partner cleaning out the rooms and we plan on taking most of our gear to the spot little by little starting tomorrow. I think we can be fully open for business to the public in the next two weeks.

@Kamikaze Revy @Majestyx

Do yal use external monitors with your Macbooks any? I have 2 new screens coming in tomorrow for my desktop PC, but I intend on extending my Macbook to them as well. Currently, I just plug my HDMI cable into the monitor from the Macbook and it's good to go.

I'm trying to see if I'll be good with an HDMI splitter to use the laptop on both screens.

I don’t use multiple screens on my Mac book pro but I do on my iMac 27”.
You can use a splitter like you described but you would end up having the same image across the two screens. If you wanted to use both screens as an extension you would have to plug them in separately to the Mac book. A splitter will do exactly that; split the same signal. It’s funny you ask the question because I ran into the same thing when installing extra monitors in my recording studio

Bet, that helps.

This setup is far from typical. I'm going to run DisplayPort cables from the monitors to my desktop PC (graphics card), and then I'll run an HDMI cable to my Macbook and an Mini-DisplayPort to HDMI cable from my Macbook to my other monitor.
