There's a dial/scroll wheel on the back of the cam right above the AF-ON button that's for the shutter speed, and there's another one on the front at the top of the camera's grip that's for the aperture.Yo, when shooting in manual on the a7iii, how do you go back and forth between controling apeture and shutter speed?
Also, how do you lock the shutter speed?
Probably the SigmaTrying to decide between getting the Rokinon 35mm 1.4 or the Sigma 35mm 1.4 signature lens.
Which is better?
Damn, i AM a fukking moron @radio rahiem. Never realized that front dial existed. There's a dial/scroll wheel on the back of the cam right above the AF-ON button that's for the shutter speed, and there's another one on the front at the top of the camera's grip that's for the aperture.
That's where they are by default. You can customize it if you'd like.
You can lock the shutter speed in Manual, and you can lock the aperture in Shutter Mode priority.

Man i feel dumb. Either way, im pumped as fukk now. About to get this prime 35mm and do some damage.
I think the sigma is what i want but i really am trying to save some cash after my latest PC purchase. But either way, the sigma may have to be copped.

Sigma 35
Sony 24-105mm G OSS Lens
Depends. If you need a lot of range and versatility you would pick up that 24-105mmThis was recommended for the A7iii...
Yay or nay?
was asked by a church friend to shoot some shots
i suck shooting outside I don't know why, i can never get settings the way i want it, like when I shoot manual its always overexposed I had to shoot in auto mode
Use off camera flash with Softbox.
Thatโs a field Iโm working on right now.

It's not ideal for most stabilizers/gimbals because it's a big lens. If you have more of a documentary/photojournalistic style you would pick up the 35mm. I think 95% of the shots I've shared over the last 6 months or so in here have been shot at 35mm.
If events where you need more reach on your camera, that 24-105 would cover you. Thinking of weddings and conferences etc
