Sony knows they going to drop another APS-C camera so they named this bytch a6400
These nikkas can't help themselves... with that said $900 for this is going to sell like crazy, they finally giving the VLoggers a flip screen, but with them not mentioning anything about improving the battery or 4K60fps, I'm going to just assume they're waiting to put that shyt in the a7000

This is for Youtubers/Vloggers IMO, they'll come out with another one that will go head to head with Fuji and Panasonic's latest offerings in that space as well.
The price of the A6500 will be a great value after this comes out too. It's 1100 right now

i'm low key being lazy, i dont know wtf the difference is between 6500 and 6400 (sans vloger screen). that bytch is cheap AF(relatively speaking)
i dont fukk with sony apsc,so its whatever. I'm just trying to figure out differences.

Just got into this hobby on a whim. My parents have a entry DSLR (Canon Rebel) and had no idea on how to properly use it on a trip we just went on 
. I took up the mantle and taught myself how to use it and shoot manually in a few days. Manipulating aperture, shutter speed, ISO...learned it all pretty quickly. I already have an artistic mind tbh, so it didnt take long to get the shots I wanted as far as composition and Bokeh effect. I want this to be a new hobby. Its pretty fun, but super fukking expensive. I need to learn more about the different lenses and other accessories. Thats the one thing I'm clueless about. Was shooting on a 18-50 mm lens (I think

From what I've seen the only thing that is different is the flip screen.
I don't think they are upgrading the batteries, and I don't think this thing is getting 4k60p. They are targeting the VLoggers and that's why when you go on youtube and type in a6400 you'll see they had review units out early prepping for this day.

I use a Canon 5D MK III nowadays, started off on a rebel t5i.

sony is very specific with their releases... dude mentioned it but was off.. like the A7R drops and then the cheaper a7 drops. What he missed is the R is monumentally better than the regular version. BUT the regular version does do some things better than the R.
That's because sony made the R to beast on pics, but not video... so the a7 is better at video than the R, but couldn't sniff it's ass when it comes to pics... However there is a 3rd model... A7S... Which would beast on both the previous with Video... But sucks at pics vs the other two
So while you see the same camera... with the 3 having THOUSANDS in price difference... they are all made for either A. The photographer only.... B. the videographer only... C.. The guy who does both, but neither really good. Yet they all come out around the same time. And they all are related
It'll be the same with these.. Every few months they'll add a feature, while taking away some... I don't know why, but it's working so hey
Hybrid shooters like myself copped the A7III because of the value it brings to the table on both sides.
The A7RIII 42MPs is only needed if you're strictly a high end portrait/wedding photographer or you're into commercial product photography. For everything else, the A7III is more than capable for photo.

My words weren't correct.. As someone who takes a lot of photos on vacation and also needs to shoot video for blogs.... I copped the A7III myself a few months ago...
What I mean is, it goes back to the saying "you can do one thing great. Or 100 things good." The A7III does both pretty good. Damn good compared to other camera's in the price range. But it's not just "a cheaper version" with the same specs.. It's an all purpose camera, therefore less. While the R and A are high end cameras for only one thing.. video OR picture, but you'd never get one to do both.
But at no point, did I mean to say the A7III standard is some shytty or just good camera... This thing is a beast. I can only imagine what could be better with an A or R. It's not only better, but like $3500 more. Must look like real life lol

I'm getting an R next but I got the regular A7 cause I do video as well.
I see the point in most their releases in most cases. The more you do with this stuff, you start to notice areas or camera limitations. I just don't have the capitol like that (yet) to cop all the gear that would check every box for every particular area that I work in when it comes to video and photography, so I always go for the best overall value.
