Been a minute... Closed the door on the glamour/portrait shooting, 15yrs of it I wanna find other avenues. Back to event and product. Picked up a Lensball, takes some getting used to shoot with it. A lot of peeps handhold it, I grabbed an extra tripod and shot with it that way.

How is 5100 compared to the 6000?
based on reviews, they're pretty much equal. I'm a Nikon guy

Nah they're not. Imo the 6000 is plenty better than the 5100. The 5100 is essentially a selfie/vlog camera. The 6000 shoots faster, has an eye viewfinder, a hot shoe, etc
based on the reviews I read besides the weight & speed, there's many comparisons between the two. I mainly use the 5100 for selfie/group pics. I use my 7200 for everything else.

true story, the way the market is moving into mirrorless, the other brands are expensive comparatively. the a6000 is great entry point

I get that. But it didn't feel good the first time I had it in my hands Idk why. The display seemed so small. The Eos 1300 was right next to the A6000 and it felt better somehow
