:wow:That vintage effect is so on point.

On a different note, why camera lenses are so friggin expensive:gucci:? I'm just browsing for my Nikon and almost catching a stroke looking at them prices:mjcry:

Buying them used helps, it also helps to buy vintage glass if your camera body is mirrorless. You can get some very sharp Minolta MD mount prime lenses for example for under 100, same with canon FD mount lenses and Nikon F mount lenses. I shot the above photos with Canon FD glass

I copped a Nikon P500 a couple of months ago and didn't use it yet only because I don't have an battery charger... question is can I use a regular Energizer battery charger to charge my Nikon AA batteries? Only reason why I want to cop the Energizer charger over the one specially made for this camera is because the Energizer charger is Prime eligible where's the Nikon one is not. I hate this battery setup, cameras I bought years ago (Sony DSC H10 and Nikon P80) came with a charger but with this new modern camera you gotta buy the charger separately :why:

How did you get such low noise in that second picture?
Are you using a full frame camera?
My camera is pretty good in low light situations as long as I shoot with a steady hand. I don't shoot higher than 800 ISO with it (A6000).

I didn't really do anything in particular, but I've been using this camera for years and I'm fully aware of it's limitations and what I have to do to get the best shot depending on the scenario. Then after that... it's just about how I'm feeling when I go to edit it. I was tweaking a lot of settings in that one last night, I'll post what it looked like straight out of the camera when I get to my Macbook today.

My next camera will be Full Frame tho.

Good work man. I really like that second shot a lot.
I got rid of my Canon SL1 and picked up a GH5. With good lighting that camera takes amazing stills and video.
In low light things get noisy REALLY fast. It's not terrible at all, there's just cameras out there that handle low light significantly better.
