I was.in the rare hip hop photos thread and someone brought up how they are thinking of getting a polaroid camera because of the nostalgia of so many of those rare photos..,
Made me think that was a good idea also.
I may get a regular pocket camera whenever i wanna take a quick snap and the DSLR is too big
And then use the canon or nikon for the average modern photo
Im just wondering i would use the polaroid to get that nostalgia feel.
Hmm...
you guys didn't go to school for this did you? I see my local community colleges have photography courses but I don't have near the requirements to be accepted into the course.
Nope, self taught got into digital cameras back in 2000, bought my 1st DSLR in '04, the more I shot, the more I learned. I've picked up a few things from photography websites and forums.

photography is expensive as shyt. but you can make due with older technology if youre not shooting in low light. like if you shooting in the day mainly, you could cop like a d700, or a 5d mark II or a fuji x-t1. All of those are under a G. but then you gotta worry about coping lenses. buy used, guy smart, and hunt. These camera prices are mad
I dont believe they cost this much. It has to be because I'm in England where everything is twice as expensive than any other country.
It would be cheaper to pay some youngers to run in an electronic shop and grab everything they can
