Imo this is the most influential rap album ever on a long time level. The ug still tryna remake it 30 years later. Never mind its initial impact on nas jay mobb and big.

This was back when you could call the station and speak to artists live on the radio. Some of them called up to WNYU when Rae was there promoting that summer. And when they got on the phone, they started up with the "You better watch your back. We heard the album and we gonna see you for what you said'. It was wild and funny at the same time. Rae was like, "Thanks for supporting the album, yo!" Straight comedy.
