Album is a straight movie

It's tied for number 1 rap album for me with Illmatic...

Raekwon & Ghost were just crushing the building on every verse & it doesn't have a weak guest spot verse at all...It actually has the GOAT guest spot verse on Verbal Intercourse.

but at the peak of Rae and Ghost's powers in the 90's, as a duo apart of a legendary group, they were pretty much a self contained unit

that might be my favorite nas verse of all time. thats how you know its the GOAT album. it got arguably the greatest verse from arguably the GOAT rapper on it and he didn't even ether nobody

Also, this rotates in as my personal favorite album ever and is always in my top 3.

Knowledge God prolly my most listened to track on the album, I absolutely love that beat, and the sequencing from knuckleheadz into KG into Criminology then into Incarcerated Scarface is so fukking raw.

I can go on and on about this. I’ll dig up the link to the Original 4.5 mic review from the source…the review reads like a 5 mic instant classic release, I believe the word “masterpiece” is used.

Hands down my favorite album ever. I had just turned 14. I took the little bday money I had left and me and my homeboy walked to the record store around the way and copped it at like 10 in the morning. I think I had to borrow 5 from him. We spent the whole afternoon playing the album and playing Madden. We ran it back like five times
