Lincoln Kennedy wasn't lying when he said that the defensive players were heated that Gruden always focused and cared more about prioritizing the offense over the defense back in the day. Defense been trash for almost two decades now, the best defensive player Mack has ever played with so far has been 39 year old Charles Woodson. fukk it, guess it's going to have to be 2016 all over again, Carr has more weapons to get back to 2016 with no excuses anymore and Mack is going to have to carry this bummy defense on his back again. Carr, Lynch, Cooper, now Bryant, Cook, and Nelson with that O-Line should be a top offense again though.

At this point there is no excuse they can give us that can say why the offense can’t put up 30+ points. They motherfukking better shhhiiiiieeeeeet.

If Carr has a subpar season again, I believe Gruden may just look to trade him and get the money off the books so he can find his QB. Carr’s cap hit is only 7.5 mil in 2019, something to consider during the season.
