Man I'm not here to argue with u or name call. We agree to disagree. I'm listen to rich gannon right now on 95.7 the game who said twice so far mark and the raiders did all he can to keep the raiders in Oakland. So has madden and the rest of the raider legends. Second about other owners cutting checks and mark needing welfare and should sell the team. Al Davis unlike other owners started out as a scout and a special teams coach for the chargers parlayed that' into a coach then commish and then owner of the Raiders. He wasn't born rich,he doesn't have a billion dollar business, the man just loved football in his Raiders. So who are u or I to tell mark he needs to sell something his daddy busted his ass for? He got the money he needed, he is about to profit like hell! we going to have a state of an art stadium, we can afford to pay players and Go on a run for a min. If u not with it ok sorry but I rep the raiders not la raiders not the Oakland raiders but the raiders. I don't know where u live but if u did live in Oakland and u got offered a job in Dallas that paid u millions would u take it? Does that make u a trader for leaving Oakland or Less of a raider fan? You did what was best for u and ya fam. Fans leave cities all the time mark did what was best for the RAIDERS!

Everyone is blaming Mark for this when the city of Oakland's representatives have been shafting the Raiders for how long now ? Would rather have the A's around then the Raiders. At some point Mark has to look out for the best interest of his and our team.
Ya it sucks that they are leaving but i am a forever fan of the team if they maintain the name and history of the team. Gotta be in a place that they are wanted, its clear they are not wanted by the elected officials of the city which sucks because the FAN'S want them there. Mark learned this the hard way, after the LA vote, having negotiated a 1 year 2 option years lease with them for 900K, in addition dropping the line he would like to start working on a new stadium....all changed a week later when they tripled the rent on a 50 year old stadium that is falling apart. Who can blame Mark for walking away from them. Oakland thought Mark was some dumb ass clown with a bad haircut who fuked off his money on strippers and hooters with a bad haircut who inherited his daddy's business! But surpise muthafukkas he then turned the raiders into super bowl contenders and got 750 million free dollars and 59 percent off all the ass he can buy in Vegas! Brilliant Mark I'm proud of u! The model is just win baby and that's what we doing fuking winning!!
Mark Davis is a liar period. I don't understand how people can really believe this twerp, when he's spent money everywhere but Oakland trying to get a stadium deal. He asked the city of Oakland for 400 mil, and they brought a investor to the table willing to front 600 mil, plus the additional 200 from the city. Dude would rather take on almost a billion dollars in loans just to fulfill some bullshyt fantasy of being in Vegas.

He came to 2 fukking meetings in 2 years. I don't understand how you're giving this man a pass, but do you. They gave him an option and he kept dodging them while going to San Antonio flirting with that city, then going to LA and getting shut down there, and finally Vegas for some reason caved to his ransom request. fukk him. At least the A's are paying for their own shyt and that's why the city sided with them.
Thank you, he's full of shyt.

When the Raiders were using a move to Los Angeles in the early 1980s, the Raiders and city/county officials had agreed to a plan to upgrade the stadium with luxury boxes. NFL Commissioner Pete Rozelle allegedly called the government officials and told them that Al Davis could not move his team to LA without approval from the owners. As a result, city/county officials reneged on the agreement, and Davis moved the team to LA over the objections of the NFL. Davis sued and won the right to move his team LA.

Fast forward over 30 years and the Raiders were in the same situation, using Los Angeles as leverage.Mark, thinking that Oakland and Alameda County officials were negotiating in good faith, negotiated a lease extension. As Mark said in the press conference yesterday, the "agreement" he had negotiated with city and county officials were withdrawn by them after other teams were selected for the LA market. If you look at a timeline, that was when Mark seemingly gave up on Oakland after they tripled the lease on the coliseum -- although they had agreed in principle to a much lower amount. He learned what his father had learned years earlier: City and County officials could not be trusted with their word.

The proposal by the Oakland Mayor was not a "viable" proposal, as even the Commissioner recognized. Goodall mentioned in his comments after the vote and in media comments in the days before the vote, that the proposal presented by the mayor was not one on which the Raiders or the NFL could have a lot of confidence in being implemented. Did city/county government officials approve this proposal? No. In fact, the proposal was contingent on receiving government approval. Did the proposal include specifics about who would be developing the property? No. In fact, the chances were, given the NFL's history with city and county officials, that this proposal would NEVER come to fruition.
Agreed, the JPA, city, county wanted to put something on the ballot but could not even come to a consensus in time to get it done. That is how dysfunctional they are. They all, only want what's best for themself. They'll roll out to a crowd, know the crowd and feed them what they want to hear. Libby asked Goodell what they could do, Goodell said sell the property to the NFL or provide a long term lease agreement, no 3rd party.....Libby goes out and brings in Fortress, what did you NOT understand about no 3rd party? Either she ignored him, or wanted to piss the NFL out of town. She already flaunting about the LA vote, flaunting how she had leverage in Mark's face.

Think about it. The City of Oakland and the County of Alameda had known this day was coming for what, 10 years, and yet it took them until a couple of days before the vote to actually put forth a half ass proposal with few specifics. 10 years? Come on homie.

The stadium is literally falling apart. Concrete is breaking off. The bathrooms are worse than most high school stadiums. In fact, there are a large number of division II college football programs that have larger, more modern stadiums. Given the millions pouring into both the city and the county from Raiders games, one would think that somehow, someway they could use some of those tax dollars to fund a new stadium. You've got to spend money to make money. The area around the coliseum is a wonderful place for economic development. Why couldn't some business person come up with a viable development plan in 10 years? Why? Because city and county officials can't be trusted and can't get out of their own way to get something -- anything -- done! So they didn't want to fund the project? Implement a hotel tax to fund a bond to build a new stadium. Let people coming in from out of own pay for a brand new, state-of-the-art stadium. Did they pass such a tax in 10 years? No.

I do not blame the Mark one bit for moving to Las Vegas. City and county officials had years to get something done on this project, and they couldn't. They reneged on deals over 30 years ago, and the reneged on lease agreements last year. I hate it that the Raiders are moving, but to hate on mark for not waiting around another 10 years for a project that would never be developed is ridiculous. If you want to hate on anything or anyone, protest against the city and county officials who have been dishonest, never negotiated in good faith, and couldn't get anything done in a decade.

The Raiders are one of the NFL's storied franchises, with a rich history, Super Bowl wins, some of the greatest games in NFL history, the greatest players and the greatest plays. This franchise deserves a stadium and to fulfill als dream of building his own Raiders hall of fame.

This is how the rich stay rich

Use other people money and not yours..

If i had $1,000 in my pocket and someway im slick enough to get $10,000 from all my raider brehs to buy tickets and other merchandise on a loan even though it might take 10 years to pay it back then im taking it..

I don't think any actual Raider fans believe him. Isn't the relocation fee alone enough to get the stadium built in Oakland? Vegas has been on Mark's mind for a long time and this is 100% a money move and nothing more. It's really sad that he's pulling a sellout move like this breh, I truly feel terrible for the Town because this is their team. Even as someone that got into the team in LA, it's tough to think of this team as anything but Oakland. Like I said in this and the other thread, Mark owes it to Oakland to not only bring a Superbowl but he's gotta invest in keeping the Oakland fans that want to keep going to games. Make it as easy and painless as possible to get from the East Bay to Vegas and treat them good.

This shyt shouldn't even be happening though. After all them terrible years it's absolutely insulting to just move the team. A lot of that home field advantage is gonna be missed, the H.O.T. might be old and terrible but that's real home field advantage with the East Bay in the building and all the LA fans that travel north. I just really really hope this all works out but I can't fukk with a huge gamble like this. Jerry Jones running game on Mark, the Town gotta be sick over this shyt. I missed seeing Kobe last year but I'll be damned if I don't get to go to a game in Oakland. I'm mad we're away against the Redskins, I don't want to see the Raiders at fukkin FedEx only the H.O.T.

Didn't that involve him giving up a piece of his ownership?

Mark Davis got shot down in LA, and immediately turned to LV. I have civic pride breh, the Raiders created their identity in Oakland, and acting like gypsies moving every 15-20 years is the result of bad business practices within the franchise. It's not Oaklands fault they family hasn't kept up with they business partners. I'm done with LV Gypsies.

Didn't that involve him giving up a piece of his ownership?
Had multiple options, but he didn't wanna come to the table. He said he only need 400 mil in Oakland, but is taking on a 650 mil loan in LV. What does that say about him.

People keep using what shoulda coulda to excuses but what did he ever do to show The Bay Area region he wanted to stay? He didn't t negotiate breh, plain and simple. You've had the land zoned, impact reports completed, land entitlements completed, measures passed on ballots to allocate money for infrastructure at the site, developers and investors brought in to help close any money windfalls, and he contributed jack shyt.

It took the Vikes 15 years to get they new gigs, and never did they treat their local market with such disregard as that cock sucker.

fukk em.
