I still want him as our head coach but having Jameson Williams throw the ball with your season on the line was asinine. If I was a Lions fan I would be fuming.
I'm wondering if Ben Johnson is preferring the Raiders as he comes as part of a package deal with the GM.

I honestly think that's what's giving us a fighter's chance. He gets to have his own GM and start from scratch. Bears and Jaguars have their GM in place that he might not want to work with.

I definitely thought he was headed here. Not too upset though, Ill be good with Carroll. :ehh:
I really wanted Johnson but not mad at Carroll (even though he's old as shyt)

But my preference is Brian Flores now

Now that Johnson is gone as an option, Deion is at least intriguing to me.

I like Deion, but if we ended up with him as HC, I'd consider this off-season an L.
Anything outside of Ben Johnson was gonna be a fail to be honestly. He was it. Too bad we have no real avenue to get a QB (other than trading multiple draft picks). I think ultimately that's what cost us.

Why ain’t no one love us man :mjcry:
Them dumb ass late season wins by Pierce set the franchise back even more than we already were.

We had a clear path to either Ward or Sanders, now we don't. And with no legit means of getting a franchise QB this off season, there's really no reason a highly sought after candidate would take the job. You can't win in this league without a QB, and we are in QB hell at the moment.

Washington’s ownership played their cards perfectly. Let Rivera play out the season, secure a high pick that would attract a high level coaching staff. Now they could be in the Super Bowl.

Mark Davis stupidly listened to the players, fired a coach that would have been gone at the end of the season anyways and the interim coach got the team to 8-9 which got us out of getting a QB.

A year later we still have no QB and the top head coach prospect rebuffed us.

I love Pete Carroll, but he’s fukking old and does he have the stomach to rebuild from the ground up at this point in his life?

This shyt is like Groundhogs Day for real.
