If the Raiders were a coach away sure. But this is a long term project. The new head coach is going to have to install a winning culture from the ground up.

Facts, Petey was the architect of one of the most swaggiest teams in CFB history so having him around is only positive. I think he should be President of Football Operations or something since he was also a great recruiter and could prolly help build up an elite staff and roster.

We need someone young with time on their hands and something to prove if we’re going to hire a coach for this bando on fire.

You can hire him and have a succession plan in place. This is the NFL, which stands for Not For Long.
