If they are counting on people to travel hundreds of miles to watch a 3 hour football game to get support instead of grabbing most of the people already in that market, then it's not a good idea in the first place. Not to mention, they do they have the corporate backing of Vegas to support it.
They aren't counting on people doing a turn and burn breh. Think of getting to Vegas on Friday, turning up until Sunday morning then going to a Raider game while the team is hot like they are right now.
Mark is a dumbass, period. You giving up a market with more billionaires and a larger blue collar class to fill those ticket sales but you want to go to a tourist ass town like Vegas that has no real history of having a team from a major sport? Al was a G he woulda still went to LA because its the best option who gives a fukk about the dumbass NFL. Al was right, Mark is a real stupid mothafukka.

Raiders should have their own stadium in LA and they should move the Chargers to Vegas. You're on the upswing and decide to go to an unproven market, you're about to be the sole team in Oakland and their growing success can draw those Sillicon Valley dollars. How can the Raiders be the best team for LA but we can't go to LA? Everybody fukkin up here, I'm still a fan but Vegas Raiders is some tacky shyt no offense to the Vegas Raider brehs.

Al went to LA with no fukks given. Plus this was our first winning season, we've been some shyt for one and a half decades the Silicon Valley dollars won't come overnight. I've been mostly against this move, always said the only town outside of Oakland that makes real sense is LA. This Vegas shyt just sounds sexy and got casino dollars behind it, but overall what is there? Why would this team need a jumbo sized stadium in Vegas when we don't know how well it can support that? How many people from the Bay gonna travel all the way to Vegas for a 3 hour game? LA is one thing, they been travelling for the longest and Vegas is closer but Oakland is much further from Vegas so you've already cut off a portion of your fanbase.

I don't want us moving to Vegas, but Mark is broke (in nfl owners terms) and won't sell any piece of the team. OAKLAND city council isn't helping foot any bills and it doesn't make sense to keep repairing O.Co when it will easily cost half of what a new stadium will cost. Honestly, wish we moved to San Diego but the city won't pay for anything and who is going to be the phantom backer that puts up a billion dollars? Going to Raiders game is going to be an event that needs to be planned for unless the person is going to do a turn and burn (highly doubtful if you bringing kids with you) . I prefer San Diego since it still in California and also stick it to rams and chargers owners when they notice how southern California fans will pack more raiders games than there own...

I think that's the only way this is redeemable. Because I think it's unrealistic to expect BOTH cities to commute to Vegas en masse, LA is one thing but Oakland might be a whole nother ball game. At the very least, if there was a way to make it much easier/cheaper to get there for games and get back home that'd be ok. Not everyone want to blow their money in Vegas nor can they afford to so the lure is dead right there. I can't imagine a hard working nikka with kids from Oakland that fukk with the games to think it's prudent to travel to Vegas and back several times when the cost of living continues to go up.
Plus our games will have way more fans from the away team when you think about it, who's to say there won't be times we end up outnumbered in the stands just because a whole slew of the other team's fans want to hit up Vegas. Every person I've talked to so far reacts the same way, they can't wait till their team plays us so they can go to the game and get it in. I dunno brehs, I just don't fukk with it, I'll accept it and continue to enjoy our resurgence but I just don't fukk wit it.
That's why I think this is happening. Mark should've flexed like Al and made that LA deal a long time ago. That's the only other city the Raiders should be at.

People will still go to Vegas for casino's and live shows over a football game and the Raiders will never out do the entertainment of that city. There's a reason why small markets like Vegas only has one team at the most and any market of that size is looked at oversaturation (New Orleans). Vegas being the 40th largest market with two teams is oversaturation. There are multitude of problems with a second team in Vegas.
Real shyt, it seems rushed just for the sake of a new stadium. We need a new stadium, but without really knowing the long term effects I don't know how smart it is to go to Vegas.

Exactly. It's all about the market you are in and the people that actually live in that market. Not if you can hopefully get people to interrupt their plans to attend a football game. The Bay Area and the nearly 8 million people plus an extra 2 million with Sacramento with large amount of disposable incomes>>>Vegas and the 2 million with nothing around it for at least 200 miles.Mark is a dumbass, period.
