That's surprising. Not sure if Telesco was the long-term answer at GM, but I don't think he did anything over the last year to cost him his job. They must have someone in mind already.

I feel like Telesco’s fate was sealed during the draft when Atlanta took Penix and Denver took Nix. Brock Bowers was a great pick and may end up having a HOF career but failing to be aggressive and get a QB was a fatal error.

Needed to at least make a QB play in FA, walking in with Minshew as your starter was a fire able offense

Nobody saying it was an easy task but the number 1 thing was to get a QB.

Everybody could see this weak QB class and FA crunch coming too. It's why Cam and Sheduer stayed to avoid last years top talent, and now any available QBs are gonna cost a premium
