I hope we don't regret drafting a WR guys - there was plenty of dope ones out there. Kind of reminded me of that WR class that included Marvin Harrison and Keyshawn Johnson among others. Hopefully Streater can build off that last season and become a true No.1.

I think it would have been better to draft Marquis Lee instead of Carr. The Raider's have a very tough schedule next year, and guess who the top qb's will be in next years draft? Mariota and Winston who both look more promising than Carr does.

Norfeast groovin…
weren't you on record earlier saying you're not sad he left? he had a lot of dumb penalties that often were a detriment to our field position

my bad if that was somebody else.

i'm over houston being with chicago and us not drafting star.

comical that a lot of nation fans on this board love to bring up who we should have drafted but when al davis was missing, aside from you and myself, never said anything critical of ownership/mgmt then.

Nah I never said that, I was a huge fan of Houston and thought he was ready to take that next leap if he got more support on defense. Star is one thing, but keeping Houston was somethI wanted us to do. lol, people are gonna feel a kinda way about things. I don't agree with everything Reggie has done but I'm still willing to see where he's going with this don't forget there were people that thought Al could do no wrong and blindly followed him even though he made terrible moves too. Coach Allen got a lot to prove to me though cuz I've lost a huge amount of faith in him.

I think it was better for us to get a defensive playmaker. I think our receiver woes can be solved with a consistent QB, not to mention we can address #1 receiver next season or in free agency.

Winston will likely go top 3. I don't think we'll be there. Gruden says Carr has the best arm in this draft, Dilfer said he has a top 8 arm in the last 10 drafts.

Raiders sign Khalil Mack

In the clearest sign so far this season that the days of protracted rookie negotiations are part of the distant past, Khalil Mack’s rookie deal is already done.

The Raiders signed Mack today, Field Yates of ESPN reports. Mack was the fifth overall pick in the draft and is the highest-drafted player to sign so far.

The new Collective Bargaining Agreement pre-determines rookies’ contract, meaning there’s not much of anything to negotiate anything at all. So it’s no surprise that Mack got his deal done quickly.

Now Mack will get to work in Oakland, where he’s expected to be a starting linebacker from Day One.
