run defense will be top 12

pass defense is my concern.. i wish tarver use woodson more on blitz packages like the packers did. his quickness force turnovers and with brown and rodgers 2 solid corners thats a plus

Analysts, pundits, Raider hating Media members are all giving Reggie props for a good draft.

All the Nation fans (you know who you are) who have been critical of Mgmt, are you now willing to give Reggie a chance to build a team now that he has all the Raider picks moving forward? I really like Tarver at DC, I have been saying for YEARS that this team needed massive overhaul of its defensive scheme and roster. If ANYTHING, the team should be fairly competitive week in/out from a defensive perspective. The secondary improves 10 fold with Brown, Hayden with a year under his belt, Rogers, McGill competing.

 for Reggie McKenzie

7 wins would be a good get for this season

I am, I removed the cac from his name. But how much better would we be with Houston and Star Lutui on that front line :mjpls:

Would you rather have Houston or Mack? If we had Houston, something tells me we would have drafted Mike Evans. Plus, Houston wanted to be severely overpaid to remain a Raider.

No point in talking about how good the Raiders could be if they drafted "x" instead of "x". You can't only put that on Reggie and not bring up all the misses in the 1st round the past 12 seasons

I don't think it would've been an either/or. Houston alone isn't enough to make up for the overall lack of playmakers on defense. Houston, Star, and Mack would've made a deadly trio of players for our front 7.

Reggie was taking Mack over anybody else in the draft other than Clowney regardless. He said he didnt answer any phone calls from other teams during the draft when Mack fell to us.

weren't you on record earlier saying you're not sad he left? he had a lot of dumb penalties that often were a detriment to our field position

my bad if that was somebody else.

i'm over houston being with chicago and us not drafting star.

comical that a lot of nation fans on this board love to bring up who we should have drafted but when al davis was missing, aside from you and myself, never said anything critical of ownership/mgmt then.
