I'm pretty sure all the NXT talent comes up with their own names for years now.

Speaking of NXT name changes, here is Matt Riddle talking about it

“So when I talked to them [after signing], somebody said, ‘Are we changing your name?’ I was like, ‘If you’re gonna change it, I don’t want to, but if you’re gonna change it, I only want it to be one other thing.’ They said, ‘What would that be?’ I go, ‘Ratthew Middle.’ My [birth] name is Matthew Riddle, so I wanted to change the letters around so I can be Ratthew Middle, and the crowd could chant, ‘Ratth-ew Mid-dle. Ratth-ew Middle.’ It has a ring to it.”

On calling William Regal ‘bro’: “He said, ‘How dare you disrespect me,’ and I said, ‘What do you mean?’ He got all carried away, but that was years ago, Me and Regal now have a much better and respectful relationship, and I call him ‘Bro’ all the time, and he understands where I’m coming from now, and we’re better people for it.”

I gotta admit, from what I've seen in his matches now, dude has "it" as far as the in-ring goes. I might have slandered dude before. I think early on in NXT he was working some shyt out or something and from what I saw in MLW maybe he just didn't get his shyt off there.

The following WWE NXT Superstars have officially received their new ring names:

* Adrian Jaoude is now known as Arturo Ruas

* Eric Bugenhagen is now known as Rik Bugez, which had been in the works

* Jessie Elaban is now known as Jessie Kamea

* Luke Menzies is now known as Ridge Holland

* Trevor Lee is now known as Cameron Grimes

Zero doubt that Trevor Lee came up with that name. Grimey fukk from Cameron, NC. Weird they're changing his name at all, figured he'd be more Matt Riddle push than Dijak but I guess should have figured after he hadn't even made it to TV in 6 months.
