This Jey Uso vs. Ali match should be good.
Jey Uso and Ali had a match in NXT?
Nah. Sean Maluta and Mansoor look like offbrand Uso and Ali.
WWE NXT Champion Johnny Gargano is reportedly dealing with a knee injury, according to a report from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The details surrounding the injury are currently unknown, other than that it may have occurred in March. He hasn’t worked a house show since March 8.
It has also been noticed that Gargano hasn’t been working the majority of tag team matches he was in at recent NXT tapings. Despite this, the expectation is that he’ll be ready for his title defense against Adam Cole at NXT TakeOver on June 1 from Bridgeport, Connecticut.
The injury would also explain why Gargano has been doing more work as a producer as of late. Gargano commented on the experience recently via Twitter:
The #1 killer of success is complacency. Especially when it comes to this job.. there’s just so many different sides and intricacies to it, you can always get better and learn something new. I get the chance to wear a different hat this weekend! @WWENXT ?
