For women it's a little more clear cut that Bianca is going to dethrone Shayna sometime this year, but I could just as easily see her getting called up out of the blue before that happens.

I think Mrs. Johnny Wrestling is going to be the one to dethrone Shayna. If you’ve noticed, they have kept her separate from the title picture for a while now. And it’s obviosuly for a reason.

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Shayna gets called up while still champion alla Kevin Owens.

NXT is a masterclass in bringing people in & having matches waiting that they should really do, but someone gets called up before they can get to it. Looks like Kairi vs Io is going to be like War Raiders vs Sanity or AOP & just not happen.

• Johnny Gargano comes out for a promo segment. He talks about his journey and how he can stand here as Johnny Champion, and the Undisputed ERA arrive, without Roderick Strong. Adam Cole claims to be the uncrowned champion and says Gargano just got lucky, to which Johnny says he beat him 2-1, but he’s willing to give him a rematch. Roddy comes out of the crowd to attack Johnny and TUE finish the segment with a beatdown.

That match has happened before, it's just the team up that I wanted to see more of.

I'm not surprised about this as she gets a lot of pops when she appears on WWE PPVs like the Rumble, Evolution, the MYC or whatever, and she has already won titles. My guess is Vince recognized that and sees a new HHH star he can ruin LOL. She either gets the Tye Dillinger treatment (who was really over in NXT but barely used on WWE shows), or will become something embarrassing like Bayley, where she's always struggling to do something meaningful but is really there just to put over some blonde. SMH If she loses the kiddie gimmick she can make it, but considering that she can't speak English any better than Asuka, I don't see the main roster thing working out for her but you never know ...


I would have preferred to have seen Shayna get called up to replace Ronda on the main roster, and keep Kairi over there a little bit longer so she can do the Io Shirai feud/tag team thing going, but it doesn't matter at this point. I don't think that the company as a whole is going to get any better until some real competition shows up. It feels like the main show is on cruise control and the NXT shows are trying but constantly getting undercut by injuries and call ups that defy their long term booking.

Kassius Ohno n That Kiwi Buzzsaw dude had THE worst wrestling match I ever seen. NXT UK one flaw is that they matches are TOO long.

Toni Storm fine as hell n good in the ring. Vince must not have seen her yet.
