Aside from the TNA guys, these NXT cats bland as fukk
Call ups pretty much took every good home grown wrestler, now the only exciting people are outsiders.

Should of expanded NXT so people wouldn't feel the need to "graduate" and make their own promotion.

- Bobby Roode made Oney Lorcan (who?) submit to a full-nelson body scissor. Roode got a huge pop and I got to hear that music in person. It was GLORIOUS. :blessed: Oney's pretty good and had some fans but most of the crowd was behind Roode. Sometimes Roode would hit a good move and then pose like :blessed: and yell "GLORIOUS!" :russ:

.

Had to google that name because I had a feeling who it might've been...and I was right. They gave Biff Busick "Oney Lorcan" as a name?!!? :laff: :laff: :laff:

Good too see that they are booking him against important guys though. I really like Busick but dude is pretty generic, I hope he finds a persona that clicks in NXT.

It's still strange to me they brought him in right before the CWC and changed his name, but then brought in Drew Gulak (the worst and most boring/generic/charismaless of all the grapple dudes) with hype and his normal name. Biff should have been in the CWC over Drew for sure.

And they also brought in Swan, Ciampa and Gargano, and a few other smaller names in without changing their name before him. So random. And the name itself is so wtf.

I kinda wish Itami gets to keep his name ... KENTA just sounds a lot more impactful and unique. Especially since Nakamura and Ibushi got to keep their names.

Good to see that they gave him back his Baisuku Knee since Bryan retired tho ... now just let him do the GTS as well and let him cook.

He's still teasing this at house shows, I'm thinking he's going to bust it out at a Takeover or something special like an NXT title match.

It's strange to me they didn't hold of Hideo's return for Takeover to give him some extra juice and hype from the start. You could essentially give him a reboot and erase the stench of failure his NXT run has had so far on the biggest stage. Instead, return at Full Sail with no hype and as a "Hey, Itami's back" kind of deal sums up his whole run.

still prefer they just let him re-embrace his old name but thats probably just wishful thinking at this point

I've been out of the loop for a while, why is Samoa Joe on NXT, and for what seems to be a pretty long time at that? It's not like he's someone that came from outside the US and needs to become established here. It's clear he's better than just about everyone else in NXT.

How long before he gets called up do you guys think?

NXT Ft Pierce Live Event Results
8/13/16
Ft. Pierce, FL
Results courtesy of PWInsider.com

Meet and Greet: King Konstantine, Patrick Clark and Liv Morgan.

Host: Andrea D’Marco

This is the last NXT House Show before NXT Takeover Brooklyn.

Adrain Jaude defeated Tino Sabbatelli in what has to be the shortest match in NXT history. Sabbatelli came out first cutting a classic heel promo about how he is shocked that he is booked in the opening match and that how no one has ever came into NXT as rich and talented as he is. He feels his opponnent is a joke. Jaude schooboys him in less than 5 seconds for the pin. Sabbtelli then cuts another promo demanding a real opponent and claiming there is no one in the back that he is afraid of which brings out the Authors of Pain to a huge pop who chase Sabbatelli off to the back.

Ember Moon, Danielle Kamella and Liv Morgan defeated Mandy Rose, Aliyah and Nikki Glencross. This was a lot of fun. Kamella makes her NXT Ft. Pierce debut. Ember Moon pinned Glencross for the win. Aliyah and Rose continue to improve each time we see them here in Fort Pierce

Angelo Dawkins defeated Dan “Mr. Clean” Matha. Match was heavilly dominated by Matha until Dawkins rallied for the win. Matha still gets a lot of Mr Clean heat here in Fort Pierce. Several fans have custom Mr. Clean signs and even shirts. NXT should looks into a merchandising deal for this. It was interesting seeing Dawkins in the face role tonight.

Sawyer Fulton and Alexander Wolfe defeated Patrick Clark and Kenneth Crawford. Decent match. This was very slow to get started but got better as the match progressed. Clark is a face for this show wher he was a heel last time.

Hideo Itami defeated Noah. Hideo is over huge here in Fort Pierce. Another awesome Itami match.

Wesley Blake defeated Hugo Knox. This was pretty standard stuff. Both worked hard and put on a good match.

We then have a promo from the Ealy Twins. This was good stuff. The Ealy twins are a twin brother tag team and they cut a synchronized promo basically putting the Authors of Pain on notice.

Daria Beranto and Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Riddikk Moss and Billie Kay. This was pure awesomeness! Nakamura is in the house and the crowd is pumped. Nakamura pins Moss after the Kinshaza! Billie Kay and Daria worked hard and looked good with their part of the match.

WWE NXT Champion Samoa Joe defeated No Way Jose by Submission. This was an excellent match with contrasting styles. Joe wins with the Coqina Clutch. After the match Joe proceeds to setup Jose for a Muscle Buster off the top rope however Shinsuke Nakamura returns for the save. Nakamura then challenges Joe to a match right here right now but Joe decines stating that he will beat Nakamura next Saturday! Nakamura then states he will wait for NXT Takeover Brooklyn.

Overall this was an excellent show. Lots of great action and none of the matches were a dud. Nakamura making his NXT Fort Pierce in ring debut made the night special.

NXT returns to Fort Pierce on October 8th.

Honestly, I hope they save him for a Nakamura or Joe feud after Brooklyn. Either guy winning makes sense.
