I do agree with this, that they need to focus more on homegrown talent instead of continuously poaching indy stars, but even in the FCW days, they were using indy stars sprinkled in with their own guys. Just so happens they're relying on the indy stars almost as a crutch right now.

More than a crutch. It's been the focus of the shows for 2 years now. Currently, only Revival and Bayley are homegrown stars getting any time.

This is where NXT has fukked up. You don't turn developmental into a big brand and then have to rely on star power from out of the company. You should be making the fans want to see the developmental people and getting invested with their progress. Now no one gives a shyt about NXT unless the shows have some big indie/puro/TNA stars on them, and guys that should be getting to work with them or at all on TV are stuck to the micro house shows in Florida not improving because all the big names are just working with each other.

That's not true . NXT developed Enzo and cass , AA , Bailey , Sasha , Charlotte ( don't count Little Indy dates that Sasha and some worked as real experience

Yes, they have developed stars...but random indie/puro/TNA guys are the draw and have been since 2014. Right now, who are they developing and giving TV time to that wasn't an outside star? Bayley and Revival. That's it. And both are going to lose to indie/puro people. And then Bayley will be replaced by an indie woman who jumps the line of women they've had working for a year or two. They have something like 150 people at the PC, but the only people getting TV time are people who are at their best and have no need to be training and improving to begin with. And they all work with each other instead of the young talent that needs guidance and experience to improve and become an asset to the company.

No one is going to NXT shows without Joe/Nak/Rooooo/Asuka. Random PC person isn't the draw, which is where NXT has fukked up. Originally NXT itself was the draw. Now the stars are the draw.
