Can we rename this the Powerrr thread instead. Been watching all the EPs, the talent is passable, with obvious focus given on good talkers. I'm just in love with the old NWA vibes and production. Even going oldschool with the intro song is a hit.

If you are a fan looking for an alternative that isn't too "indy" this is for you.

That #AskKamille hashtag is almost begging basement dwelling marks to start asking weird shyt. :russ:

Gotta love the main event booking coming around with all the different pieces. Aldis as the tweener doesn't necessarily mind the challenge because he'll have to defend the title sometime, but uses the stakes of the Cabana match and vacating the belt to put more weight on James Storm plus it gives more incentive to Cabana to give his all in the match. Meanwhile Eli Drake's scheming ass falls back because he moves up regardless of the outcome. If Storm's team won the tag match, the National Championship is vacated, putting him right in line to take it. If Storm's team lost (as happened), Storm can't contend for Aldis' title so Drake can step in instead.

That's some ol' fashioned storytelling and they did that without hitting you over the head with it.:wow:

and yeah, I love Eli Drake's take on being a 'tweener

he's not angrily fighting both faces and heels

he's not a chickenshyt opportunistic weasel

But he'll come out and act as a friend, give you a backhanded compliment/insult of truth to deflate your ego and get you riled up, then aim that ego at somebody else.

It's bytchmade and brilliant.

:heh: I just realized we can complain about the match quality, but the match quality is one of the things that legit makes it look like old school wrasslin

Does anybody know what's the song with the kids choir in the countdown? Feels odd me asking what a song is. I need it.

"they got Lettermen jackets in high school and somebody had to read 'em to them!" :laff::laff::laff:

:heh: Aaron Stevens got nuclear heat

:gladbron: I also need this wrassling game.

You know something else I LOVE about this show? The old school practice of tiered booking.
Person A has the world title. Person B has a title shot. They feud.
Persons C and D want a title shot. They feud with each other and Person B for the title shot Person B has.
Persons B, C and D may also have a title that's not the world title. They're in feuds of the same structure, but with midcarders E and F
You do this for each belt, throw in some emotional motivation.
That way, damn near your whole roster has something to do that seems "Important", every belt has weight, There's IS no "creative has nothing for you".

:jbhmm: If Aldis lose the belt, Tim Storm should be able to challenge the person for it. Would they turn a schoolteacher heel?

:takedat: Thunder Rosa.
"They put her picture in prisons to cure sex offenders" :laff::laff::laff::laff:

:russ: brehs. How... passive aggressively heel do you have to be to wear neutral skin colored wrestling trunks

:ohhh: ooooh, Aldis is tired of Eli Drake's shyt... and STILL ducking James Storm! :mjlol:

Thunder Rosa bringing some much needed talent and charisma to the women's roster. I'm still dying at the 'heel turn drums' though. :russ:

Also, Cornette during the women's match:
Cornette: 'Oh, that's a vicious knife edge chop, it might've been right across the Adam's apple! This Thunder Rosa, she's...'
Galli: 'Uhh, wait...'
Cornette: 'Well, okay, y'know, the area of that.'

I'd be amazed if Corny doesn't get booted from the show in the next few weeks/months. They've already had to put out one statement about him saying offensive things about sensitive topics, dude starts making trans jokes/insults and they could easily get a community strike on Youtube.
