Naw, the only risk for them is losing more 3rd party support. Look how many copies Pokemon Scarlet/Violet sold and it looks and plays like absolute dog shyt.

I still think the type of people that want to play graphically intensive games on a handheld is a small market. More people will buy a NIntendo for the next Animal Crossing than something like FF7

I saw nikkas arguing last week that FFXVI and GTA6 were gonna be day one ports this year

They all want an explosive in their hands apparently.

Regarding they graphical benchmarks, if 3rd parties want to release a game on the Switch 2 with pared back visuals, they will.

Did we ever think that Switch would get Doom, Wolfenstein and Doom Eternal? Did we all think it would get a port of Kingdom Come Deliverance? Did we ever think the Switch would get a port of The Witcher 3 with all the content? That shyt shouldn’t have been feasible. IM PLAYING NIER AUTOMATA ON SWITCH RIGHT NOW!


Yes, they’re will be the MK 1’s but hopefully we see more DQXI’s.
