Music is cool, but I'm not really feeling all the interludes with the R&B singers just feels like padding

Other than Charles Bradley, sadeeq (2nd number) and delfonics it tended to feel like American bandstand. Not anything jarring it just kind of budded in to the show sometimes

Watching ep #3 and the fight scene is straight but it feels a little...cheap? You have dudes flying through walls and ceilings but Luke's kicks and punches don't seem dynamic enough. Maybe that's on purpose or the editing?

I like him on the show too, but I thought I'd love this character and right now he's a dropoff from Stokes. That actor damn near may win an Emmy for his role. Diamondback character I like the performance, but seems a bit out of place at times

It's his mannerisms and speech pattern more than anything. He out here sounding like Captain Cold It jived with the seriousness of the rest of the show. Like Jamie Foxx's campy Electro in ASM2.

I thought his mannerisms/patterns have been much better in 9 and 10 though.
