Actually the character was a guy based in the comic they just put the lady from the matrix because she was a decent actress and wanted to be on a marvel show...

i'm also a tough critic. the only MCU movies i've enjoyed were CA:WS and Ant-Man it's not a bad show by any means. i'll rate it again once i'm further in the series
