The fact its another rich kid is part of the characters backstory, cant change that.

They shudda just came from a different angle widit

the show never tells you why he was chosen to be the IF or show us the journey

I think the villian should have been Davos, they cud have played on the jealousy angle and a psudeo sibling like rivalry. I didnt need another Hand villian drama, leave that to DD and the defenders.
Fighting scenes were weak

Its not as bad as thw reviews but its a very meh kinda show

im almost done with this, took a break to watch some march madness
anyway, what i gathered so far is this is about a man trying to find his place in the world and who he is
the hand backstory is nice


anyway making the iron fist asian would seem wild racist
like the fact that he has to be asian cause he knows kungfu and is supposed to be the best seems offensive af to me its a steryotype that aisians been fighting against

It's not even just the bad fight scenes, but out of a 13 episode series, the fights are few and far between. Half the time he's whooping ass of some super fighter, the other half he's getting beat up by some regular street brawler.

Serious, the final episode, the final episode, had 2 relatively underwhelming fight scenes. The rest of the episode was spent talking.

EXACTLY....... I would find it more unbelievable that Danny Rand (now rebranded Danny Fei Wong). American Born Asian who's family is this RICH Asian family that owns this billion dollar American company with no ties to Asia with the 4th biggest company behind the Starks and Prym Tech and Parker Industries. Now they travel to Asia for business ties no related to any family shyt and his family plan crashes yada yada yada... to the story we know.
