I'm not gonna say this is the weakest of the netflix series, that title will always remain with JJ but it was still weaker than JJ in some elements. The dialogue for example was horrid, it didn't help that some of the actors weren't that good either, for example Joy. She's by far the most boring and annoying person in this show, she's 2x worse than Karen from Daredevil and that's saying a lot. Colleen was also pretty boring and I said in a previous comment that I couldn't pay attention to anything other than her body. However her fight scenes were good so that's a minor plus. Finn was the worst. Dude has no heart and comes off really bland. He doesn't have a presence like Luke Cage or Matt Murdoch does. His fighting scenes were really choppy as well, even with his iron fist it wasn't that engaging. Best thing about him I guess would be his taste in music.

Another bad quality of the show includes pacing. Combine that with the dialogue and it became a chore to get through it and I've never wanted to fast forward or even take a break binge watching a marvel netflix show, ever, but I did for the first time and that was saddening. I'm not gonna comment much on the fighting, as people have already said enough about it. All I'll say is that it was poor as a whole.

I will say that some characters were entertaining. Madame Gao was cool, she's always had my interest since Daredevil and her playing mind games with everyone was the best part of the show. Harold was also a good villain, it was almost disappointing when he got killed the first time because he was one of the highlight of the show. Claire of course was a good touch of humour and big up to her for reppin Luke with the "sweet christmas" line every once in a while. Her taking out someone from the hand was kinda goofy though.

My rating would be a 3.5/5. I'm still looking forward to Defenders but I'd be straight lying if I gave a damn about wanting to see Finn in that lineup lol

Everything you said is what I felt. I just skipped through the show after the 6 episodes. It was hard to watch a show (built around Kung Fu and mysticism) that's 90% crappy dialogue.

The shyt was plastered on every news station and magazine. That could have been dope to introduce into the story, even if it was for 10mins. shyt could of happened in the dojo fight.

The choreography is God awful. Teenage Danny getting hit with sticks and reacting a second later. The couple fights I've seen have all been laughably slow.

I'll watch this when I run out of good shyt to watch

Pretty much finishing the last ep.

Not as good as the other shows but just because it doesnt reach that level doesnt mean its a terrible show..... there's still a few other worser...... powerless super hero shows out there. But I'm not at a loss of interest in seeing him with the Defenders and in another season.

I liked Wing, I didnt have a problem with the Meechams

On episode 4. This ish is good to me. Ward is a Grade A D!KK. Finn Jones isn't bad, None of these actors are as bad a Mike Colter was as Luke Cage.

I take it that most aren't feeling the 70's style fight scenes or the hippie-esque characterization of Rand, but they fit the show
