Goyer and crew decided to go in another direction after the pilot aired and that did not include her character so she was written out.

Replaced her with a character from the comics. Should've taken that route from to begin with, honestly.
So they axed the female lead from the pilot and are replacing her on tonights episode. So the pilot was essentially had huge chunks of time that were pointless and this is going to be like a 2nd pilot.

If ypure into supernatural stuff like constantine watch penny dreadful. Its got frankenstein, vampires, werewolves etc but its so well done.
Yeah i was a fan of the comics and movie so im going to keep watching and hope it picks up.
