i've been playing 2k since 2k11 and always had the difficulty level set on pro and had fun with it

this time around it was too easy so I set it to all star and

computer is getting amazing steals, nikkas will be up by 20 then go for 3-17 cold spells and the computer comes back and beats me in crunch time and it's gotten to the point where I feel like the game is cheating

is there a happy medium or nah?


also how frequently do you brehs run plays? or do you just freestyle?

if you cant play CPU on Hall of fame or superstar please get your weight up

its hard as fukk but its the only way youll be challenged. the point is to progress from all-star to hall of fame. The more you play, the better you get.

yall and this HOF mode. stop it.

first off. Hall of fame mode is for cheesers/exploit abusers. it's there to help make the game hard for those type of players. since those type of players wont play real basketball with the game. they need to make certain things unrealistic to force a more realistic fg%,etc.

You should never play on hall of fame mode. truth is. you shouldn't go above the default PRO mode. with a few slider adjustments. because anything higher than pro. they are nurfing your fg% to make it resemble real life. or they are trying to. the problem with that is. what happens when you are playing great basketball and you keep finding ways to get open for scores. but they keep making you miss just cause. but they have baited yall for years to think hall of fame/all madden, etc, modes are for people who know what they are doing and anything less is for the casuals. thats not true at all. you have to understand how the programming works in the game to get what i'm saying.

I havent played 2k17 and barely played 2k16 but when i was an avid player 4,5 years ago....hall of fame with slider adjustments (mainly speed) was the way to go. the computer was obviously on some bullshyt hitting everything but if you didnt play realistically, running plays and doing subs you're team was getting murked.

Why is Horace Grant drifting out to the 3 point line instead of filling the lane for the easy layup?

I hardly get any fast breaks in this game. The CPU players rarely get out and run after a rebound and when they do they almost always fukk it up because they rarely fill the lanes properly.

These nikkas done watched wayyyy too many Golden State highlights.

lol this been a problem for years. if you dont master that left trigger + button player switching you wont get rebounds or execute fast breaks. its bullshyt...the CPU is useless the harder the difficulty. i am surprised yall still play 2k this much...game been rigged for years

I made a few slider adjustments and it's a little better now. The ai teammates are retarded in this, both in terms of spacing on offense and help on defense.

The most frustrating thing for me though is how damn near every defender is Kawhi-level. Guys are anticipating my moves and beating me to the spot before it happens. I'll be driving, defender will overplay me one way to cut me off so I'll spin in the opposite direction and the defender will slide back to cut me off while I'm still in mid-spin.

i love it. was playing the bad boys went to the hole with mj and got clobbered by lambeer. they called a tech on ole billy. then afetr the ft's i threw it downlow to cartwright and lambeer hammered him and got ejected

never in all my years playing the game have I seen a player get ejected

I kind of just moved a few things around that were bothering me, I don't remember off the top of my head but I'll check the next time I play. I know that I lowered human body up sensitivity to 0 to see if it would get rid of that force field type suction that happens when trying to get by defenders as a couple OS guys said, but it only helped a little (if at all) in my opinion. I think I upped shooting success a couple ticks and lowered the cpu defensive awareness a little. I think I'm going to look through OS and see if there's anything that works better.
