So after putting in work to upgrade your guy after you reach 95 you can no longer Upgrade him you have to play My Park and reach Superstar. This is bullshyt that 2K forces you to play a game mode you don't like.

Man im done with this game. They need to just make two separate modes for this shyt. They just ruin it for people who just wanna play My Career.

God damn they piss me with shyt.

fukk My Park I never gave a flying fukk about that mode.
Did you put in work or just by VC? :sas1:

I like shot creator the most
playmakers 3's are higher than shot creators. unless you take wild shots off the dribble. which is a flaw in this game.

people who can't shoot stand still 3's, dont shoot moving threes at a 10+ higher rate. it doesnt work like that in real life. now i do agree, you do have the korver/jj reddikk types that are money when standing still but not so much when off the dribble. vs guys like crawford who are money at times when off the dribble but arent really great at catch and shoot. noticed i said money ...at times. not money most of the time. curry shoots better off the dribble than in catch and shoot. klay is the reverse. but both are prolific either way. so it goes hand in hand. 2k didnt acknowledge that with the shot creator archetype.

what i hated the most about this game was how they are fasley advertising you creating one of the stars in real life. they have a picture of lebron james in there. when in reality you can't recreate bron with their archetypes schemes. how he plays can't be duplicated in this game. you can't duplicate draymond either. there is no archetype. that has great defense in the post on the perimeter, that can shoot 3's, that has ball handling, can pass very well, can rebound very well. that archetype does not exist.

there is no archetype for cousins. cousins can shoot 3's, pass very well, and play the most, and dribble very well. there is no archetype for a 6'11+ guy to do that on nba 2k17.

to me shot creators/slashers are a bunch of derozans. which is fine. he does exist in real life. you know a guy that can rush the rim but his jumper is suspect. but there is no way to create a prime kobe even though he's all in the intro. thats what i call false advertisement. you can't have a SG thats very athletic, that has handles. thats very fast/quick. with post moves, with a mid range butter shot, with a nice 3 ball, with nice passing ability and is very athletic and will dunk on dwight howard if push comes to shove. you can't build that kind of 6'6 SG on this game.

your sg options are this

derozan, klay thompson (kinda of. but your defense wont be as lock down), tony allen(lock down defender), james harden (kind of.. with the playmaker build)

you can't recreate westbrook.. because they make you blow to many layups in the paint even if you have skill with the layup meter. westbrook can score in traffic like he's 6'9. but not in this game. and you can't make someone as athletic as westbrook with a solid mid range jumper. because thats who he is.

:dwillhuh: I never though of this to get badges more easily. I just been struggling with the shot timing on hof
yall and this HOF mode. stop it.

first off. Hall of fame mode is for cheesers/exploit abusers. it's there to help make the game hard for those type of players. since those type of players wont play real basketball with the game. they need to make certain things unrealistic to force a more realistic fg%,etc.

You should never play on hall of fame mode. truth is. you shouldn't go above the default PRO mode. with a few slider adjustments. because anything higher than pro. they are nurfing your fg% to make it resemble real life. or they are trying to. the problem with that is. what happens when you are playing great basketball and you keep finding ways to get open for scores. but they keep making you miss just cause. but they have baited yall for years to think hall of fame/all madden, etc, modes are for people who know what they are doing and anything less is for the casuals. thats not true at all. you have to understand how the programming works in the game to get what i'm saying.

They completely fukked up fast breaks. :dead:

ZQdano2.gif

Why is Horace Grant drifting out to the 3 point line instead of filling the lane for the easy layup? :dead:

I hardly get any fast breaks in this game. The CPU players rarely get out and run after a rebound and when they do they almost always fukk it up because they rarely fill the lanes properly. :mindblown:

These nikkas done watched wayyyy too many Golden State highlights. :why:
they have a magnetic affect on the sidelines by the 3 point line. to make sure you step back perfectly behind it. it does this to you if you're remotely close to it. even though it looks realistic if i was kyle korver in a half court set. that makes no sense if i'm dwade on the break.

the other reason the guy caught up to you. is because they didnt implement the "speed with ball" mechanics correctly. i do like they that they separated out this year from the old way of one speed being the speed you are on both ends of the ball which is not realistic. so the idea is real. but the execution is horrible.

if a fast guy gets a break away and is ahead of the pack. unless its lebron james. the guy is gone and has an easy layup. sure he isnt as fast with the ball as he is without it. but thats not taking into account when a guy is pushing the ball on a fast break after running without it. it should only take one maybe 2 bounces. and the guy is up in the air for the layup/dunk. that 3rd slow dribble caused him to slow up.

Bro playing on pro is way too easy. And I play all madden as well because the gameplay for all pro is just too slow. And I'll destroy peeps in that setting by half time. Can't tell you how many times people quit on me when I play all pro and I go up 21-3.

You can't recreate an NBA superstar, but you can definitely make a crazy player. My PG can dunk fericiously, finish well, is fast af, and will catch your ankles along with throwing great passes. To balance that out he's a shyt shooter but if I play with a big and sharpshooter i'm easily winning 12+ games on the park.

Unless your an offline player that just wants to feast on mycareer, then you'd be better off with 2k16 where you can just go crazy.

Im fine with not having a high 3 point shot i like being able to take shots off the dribble. I always like having a strong finishing game and a reliable midrange shot.

Brehs I dont even think I wanna play this shyt anymore :mjcry:

That bullshyt was the nail in the coffin for me

You gonna quit just because you can't pay money to make your player a 99?

I don't like the park much either, but I always thought it was lame that they let people pay money and have a 99 rated my player the same week the game came out...

I don't need to pay money to make my guy a 99, I get plenty of VC playing and doing endorsements. But I want to max out my defense and I can't because I need to play My Park. I don't even want to be a 99 I just want to max out my fukking defense and I thought doing all those practices will get me that. Its kinda redundant doing the drills and getting "congratulations, you unlocked a attribute upgrade." only to find out that shyt wasn't there so you did all that bullshyt for nothing.

Come to find out, oh you can't make your player better anymore, you have to play My Park. How does that make any fukking sense. My player should get better by playing in the gym and practicing not playing some arcade bullshyt called My Park. Its the principle of the entire idea.

Every year they change something and just pisses people off. This year they are saying fukk offline players, its all about e-sports :snoop:

i've been playing 2k since 2k11 and always had the difficulty level set on pro and had fun with it

this time around it was too easy so I set it to all star and :snoop:

computer is getting amazing steals, nikkas will be up by 20 then go for 3-17 cold spells and the computer comes back and beats me in crunch time and it's gotten to the point where I feel like the game is cheating :pacspit:

is there a happy medium or nah? :patrice:

also how frequently do you brehs run plays? or do you just freestyle?
