I can't stress enough what an awful experience Lamas/Aldo part one was. I was in the damned building for that one, Brazilians were absolutely on fire all night, Uriah's walkout alone had the crowd go NUTS...then Lamas put on the second worst striking performance I've ever seen and sucked all of the energy and good will out the building. Literally the only fight I've been more frustrated with a guy was Starnes/Quarry which at least produced some funny gifs

He's injured plus his last 2 fights were universally panned so I don't think they are in any rush to put him in a fight


Ps I hate the lawler/RDA fight, hard to root against either. I would prefer if RDA was next in line and Lawler faced perry. I don't know why Lawler always has to be on the cusp of a title shot.

According to Woodley they are cool as he always seems to prefix his statements by saying me and Dana are actually pretty tight. I just think Dana sees t-Wood and says if it don't make dollars then it don't make sense. If UFC was rasslin it would be like putting Woodley in a program with a star where a win would be a waste of a rub as his matches are boring and he has xpac heat

Frankie is an elite gatekeeper. It seems more like Dana tries to build up and fit as many other title challengers in as possible before giving him a shot.

He's definitely legit, just not popular enough. If he were a draw he wouldn't spend so much time on the shelf waiting for title shots while spending YEARS in the top 5 of his division.

He's not popular and his fights are boring as shyt. Why would he be in a money fight?
