Jason 'Mayhem' Miller jailed, bail set at $1 million after latest brush with law
A judge has sent a clear message to
Jason Miller after his latest arrest, setting the veteran fighter’s bail at $1,000,000 after he was picked up for allegedly vandalizing a tattoo shop.
Miller was arrested in Orange County, Calif., after he allegedly put graffiti on the shop,
TMZ today reported.
Online arrest records show him in custody at the Orange County Central jail. He was taken into custody on Tuesday and is due in court today.
In the section of booking information that describes the inmate’s occupation, Miller is listed as a “trainer.”
Until recently, an MMA promoter hoped to usher the 35-year-old Californian back to the spotlight as a fighter, booking him opposite Luke Barnatt for a bout on May 21 in Milan, Italy.
An arrest on suspicion of DUI wasn’t enough to convince Venator FC President Frank Marenda to pull Miller from the bout, though his most recent troubles almost ensure his comeback won’t happen any time soon.
TMZ reported Miller’s exorbitant bail was set in light of the fact he was on parole for the DUI offense, which added to a laundry list of other charges that have landed him in jail, one a
monthlong stay for allegedly assaulting a police officer.
