McGregor was interviewed on Sportscenter a few minutes ago.
He claims that he didn't say no press at all to hype up the rematch...he said he'd do some of the bigger cities like new york...but he wasn't gonna do every city like they wanted...he needed to get focused on his training.
Said his retirement tweet was basically just a half-hearted joke...but once Zuffa saw it, they immediately told him he was off ufc200. So he was just on some "fukk you guys" kinda thing and ran with it.
Claims Mayweather has no other real fights to make but against him. (
) He then says that if Floyd is getting 100 million to fight him that he will have to make the same amount b/c 7 million dollars is a "pay cut" to him( 
).
Other than that, he's fine with Floyd making all the stipulations for their fight and said that beating Floyd will be easy b/c he'll only have to focus on one discipline instead of MMA where you have to train multiple disciplines.

Conor knows this too. He knows in a boxing match he's definitely taking the L, he just wants that Mayweather stimulus package.

They should do it with no grappling at all (boxing clinch, not thai), no knees, no leg kicks (that alone would give McG the W), but still allow body and head kicks, that would give conor a little bit more of a chance and it would make the fight more interesting, that's my take on it at least.
Nah, I'd say allow the leg kicks, make it full kickboxing rules but no thai clinchwork. All Mayweather would have to do is learn to defend kicks. Leg kicks you pretty much check em or counter with shyt like overhand rights. Besides, Conor's kicks aren't that powerful to begin with, that, and he has too much ego to sit back and try to take the easy way out, he'll stand and box with Floyd just because.
