I could write for days

Fukkin Pimblett who is ridiculously popular and sells like crazy in England gets less than 100k a fight- a FIGHT. 12 and 12!!!!! Paying his taxes, expenses, trainers and travelling bro makes like 15k for a SOLD OUT ARENA. He's like an Amir Khan or Brook or Hatton and those dudes made BANK in boxing.

I mean GOTDAMN. It's a mob setup with MMA.

This really puts a big asterisk next to the heavyweight belt.

Paper champ status for whoever wins now.
Jones left 205, are all those guys paper champs and contenders? Hell, even DC let the 205 belt go.

And what about 185? GSP left with the belt that he got from Bisping. Rob didn't take it from him.

And Khabib left as well. Does that mean Machachev is a fake champ?

MMA is just like wrestling, the top stars get catered to and taken care of and they don't seem to interested in ruffling feathers for the benefit of others. Then you got certain lower tier ones with that bootstrap mentality that will gladly fight for peanuts as long as they can get to those top spots. No reason you should be considered an independent contractor and be tied to only one org where you don't get paid right.

If Francis ends up being that potential mystery opponent that Wilders camp is talking about he'll more than likely take a brutal L but probably get paid more than his UFC fights combined. At least he'll make good money and have the freedom to fight where he wants

Yeah he's about to get sparked something serious if he faces anyone with a pulse at HW in boxing.

Even though it's a stretch I'd have more faith in Gane vs Wilder. I feel like Gane would be more strategic and not head hunt and has better cardio, that's actually the same reason I prefer the Gane/Jones fight more

Nobody in the ufc is lasting more than 3 or so rounds if they are engaging with any top 20 person in their weight class. If they could be boxers they would be. Imagine a boxer with the following that bum Paddy has making 20k a fight. No way

Gane would get slept quick like Francis :yeshrug:

Same guy who said, "[James Krause] has trained w/ a lot of the fighters, lives and breathes this sport as a coach/fighter, & at times has the scoop on injuries -- non-announced matchups -- how fighters look like in camp, etc. In stocks this is called insider trading in MMA betting it's called James Krause."

Throw them under the jail.

I think the biggest I take away was an event in Africa no reason they can’t have a card there.
South Africa has a big MMA scene and Nigeria has an emerging one. Either one could definitely host a site. It’s the only real continent they haven’t had one in. When they had one in the Philippines, I knew they could have one in either of those countries no problem.

Hell they was trying to do one even in Hawaii. No reason they can’t branch out.
