Cancer is a muthafukker, R.I.P. to Elias. Colon cancer spread to his liver, 34 is too young. They’re gonna have to lower the age for colon cancer screenings, that’s gonna become a more frequent occurrence in people under 50.
Not trying to speak negative on the deceased but I gotta think this is linked to steroids or other PEDs. Every fighter is on them and I hope this alerts a lot of them to the dangers.

Kinda fukked up because you have no choice. If you want to be competitive in a sport you have to take PEDs. There’s just no way around it.

I wish sports could be absolved from this puritan psychology where drugs=bad. First of all they are not drugs. Also who defines what’s a drug and what’s not a drug? And why is the word drug negative?

Also if a person decides to become an athlete wouldnt it be better if there cycle could be regulated legally by a trained doctor.

If I could sum up sports it’s literally people loving the sausage but they all want to pretend it was made organically. People just want to believe that every athletic feat is just a product of hard work lmao.

You might be right but there’s evidence that colon cancer is becoming much more prevalent in people under 50. That’s usually the age you should start getting checked, now they’re finding it in people in their early 40’s and even 30’s.

Looks like Jose Aldo has retired, one of my favorite fighters ever. WEC Aldo was a menace and his longevity at a high level is :wow:

He was a monster in WEC. I remember watching his fight with Uriah Faber and wincing every time he landed a leg kick. Faber’s leg was a swollen purple mess when he posted a pic. It’s a damn shame a lot of casuals will only remember him for the loss to Conor. Aldo is the GOAT FW

Absolute monster back in the day. A decade without a loss is crazy to think about. You could make an argument him being P4P king in a time where Jon Jones and Demetrious Johnson were in their primes. Hell, even when Silva was running through middleweight, you could pick either of them.

Anyone else think Colby owes Mas a one on one in a boxing ring?

:usure: ?

Izzy vs Perierra :lupe:

I think the Adesanya that showed up against Gastelum isn't there anymore. It's gonna be the Romero-version who gets that one serious hit and immediately goes and turtles up.

Dude is a great fighter, easily best counter puncher rn, but he hypes himself up as something he isn't. Needs to accept that Floyd shyt of you can't hit me instead of some KO king.
