After a full month of no events (holiday break), the UFC is opening 2021 with back to back early start times :francis:

The first fight is on a Saturday and will be the first
time in history the UFC will be on ABC, and they decide to do a damn 11am start time :stopitslime:

then, the second event will be that coming Wednesday with an 8am.... yes 8am start time :scust:

they won’t get back to normal start times at night until that Saturday for the McGregor/Poirer PPV.

When will the UFC learn that early, daytime events are a flop? Every time they do a day event the show draws weak ratings and/or PPV buys. Hell, not event with Khabib in the main event for a PPV a couple months ago could change that fact. That PPV only did 500k buys when it was expected to do a million.

bottom line.... the fans want to watch fights on weekend NIGHTS.... not in the morning time or early afternoon.

Since I moved to the East Coast I haven't been able to win when it comes to event times. Cards either run way too late and I'm fighting sleep during the main event or I'm working during the daytime ones.

of course the weekend before cards start again I'm off on Saturday before having to work 10 hour shifts on the next 4 straight :dead:

I know a lot of people hate Hughes for things that happened outside the cage but I'm not mad with where he's at on here. If I really thought about it and made a list myself, he'd probably be shifted a bit down though.
He was something else at welter. Farmboy strength
