Some dude on Youtube made an interesting documentary about War Machine. Outside of his time on TUF and his stint in Bellator I didn’t know a lot about him. I had no idea he was so unhinged. It’s a miracle that he didn’t kill somebody before he finally got locked up for good.

The guy was an ex porn actor, drug addict who changed his legal name to war machine and beat up his ex for fukking a breh.

Edit: It wasn't a breh.

Did an MMA-centric episode of my podcast. Our frequent guest, Joe is a muay thai instructor so we had him come back to talk to us about his current situation and discuss UFC current events.

It's three parts - 20 minutes or so
Part One is Joe's experience in this COVID lockdown. His primary source of income was training, so we discussed how he's making ends meet and what the outlook is for the school in the future. Also...whether or not this quarantine might cause people to become more interested in self-defense.

Part Two winds up being all UFC talk. We start with the Anthony Smith home invasion but then talk match-ups and matchmaking. We start on Ferguson/Gaethje; Talk Gaethje/Conor; and then vent frustration over the Conor/Cowboy and the upcoming Cejudo/Cruz match-ups (also the state of 135 as a division comes up). I think yall would dig it.

Part Three we play name that action movie using only theme songs. Hopefully it's fun for fight heads to play along with and try to guess the movies before our guests get them. We put in some classics. We close by playing an action movie themed game of Movie-Director-Cast. One guy picks a movie, the next guy picks new director for it and the last guy names actors to fill in the roles. For example, we remake Double-Team with JVD and Rodman replaced in this episode.

The second part is the real UFC stuff, but it also gives a window into what's going on in the real world for a Muay Thai instructor and we added in some fun with classic action movies. Check us out fam.

Also, I'm curious what yall think of who Conor stands the best chance of beating from murderer's row (Khabib, Ferguson, Gaethje). I give my hot take during the second section.

Oh man. Yeah he's dope. 5-0 and debuted as a pro in ONE FC like 14 months ago. All finishes. 2 TKOs and 3 subs.

He's most well known for being a part of the Danaher Death Squad in jiu-jitsu. He called out Palhares for a grappling match when most people were terrified Palhares would snap their legs and Garry didn't submit him but pretty much owned him. Maybe the most fun to watch jiu-jitsu guy of the past 5 years or so.

His trains under John Danaher and Firas Zahabi, who were GSP's coaches. He broke Dillon Danis' (Conor's protege) leg with a heel hook before. Subbed guys like Durinho Burns and Vagner Rocha. He's an elite grappler and he's looking comfortable on the feet.

Palhares match (at 8:27 he jacks Palhares' leg up)

pro MMA debut

2nd pro fight

3rd pro fight

4th pro fight

Just found out about the death squad from a guy I rolled with the other day.

Found a Danaher Video to DL. Homie obviously knows what hes talking about, but its so technical and psychological I'm not enjoying watching/learning it.

Imma keep at it tho, cuz I wanna get better.
