Thats a decent lookin card, :ehh:hopefully andrade shows out
This card may be a sleeper. The main card has some good match ups for the females. Andrade vs Karolina could be a great fight and Esparza vs Suarez has potential to be solid too. Hopefully Montano can put up a fight against Valentina and make it interesting.

Power is good. Finesse is even better. If he can hit some finesse shots then KO’s will come with the more fluid he is

Fake news, Jon ain’t no boxer and never will be. He’ll depend on eyepokes and leg kicks standup wise his entire career. His head movement could honestly be the weakest aspect of his entire game. And whenever he’s lingered in boxing range with somebody with hand speed he has paid for it.(machida, Gusstafson).

Jones best weapons striking wise are his elbows, he'll never be a one punch KO guy at this stage. He has always been great at using his height and reach to keep people at bay. IF he comes back and starts simply looking for knockouts it'll be a detriment to his game.

This is why I'll always hate that we didn't get Rumble vs Jones. Rumble seemed like the perfect fighter stylistically that could and only needed to catch Jones once.

This guy was a cop that went to jail for killing an unarmed black man and got nazi tattoes :mindblown:
UFC’s Andrea Lee allegedly assaulted by husband Donny Aaron
Aaron, an ex-cop, current MMA coach and former Muay Thai fighter, has a long rap sheet. He was found guilty in 2009 of negligent homicide with a firearm after shooting a man, Ronald Jamison, multiple times and killing him after an altercation near Aaron’s home. While he was awaiting trial for that crime in 2007, Aaron was arrested and jailed on a battery charge after allegedly attacking his ex-wife’s fiancé.

He looks even more stiff than usual, and he was already stiff to begin with. Can only imagine what Jones's striking would have looked like if he would have started from the beginning with a gym like ATT that has legit boxing coaches that have molded their coaching around MMA instead of Jackson Wink.

He picked up boxing late in life, he’s a grappler simple and plain. His best assets are his game planning, execution, and length. Your striking doesn’t have to be great with 84 inch reach

Bruh that's the case for a lot of MMA fighters, you're seeing more strikers make the transition now but it was usually grapplers/wrestlers picking up the striking afterwards. The point is I don't think Winklejohn or Brandon Gibson at Jackson Wink are great striking coaches and i wonder what he would look like with someone better. Robbie Lawler's striking started looking a lot more fluid once he hooked up with ATT, he came up a wrestler and was your standard wrestler/boxer when he first came up.

I will say tho that jones elbows are probably more fluid because he probably feels he’s not putting his arms all the way out there. It’s cool tho I think if jones does do some head slides he will even be better
