Aldo needs a win....

Cool to see Daley back....

Happy to hear Silva is cleared....

The Whittaker thing is cray cause every time he fights Romero he be taking the brunt of the ass whooping but somehow still keeps the belt. Romero can fight at 185 or 205 let it happen.
I'm not, was hoping his suspension would run long enough that he would just opt to retire. This reprieve now opens the door for a return but at what cost, he only ruins his legacy with each loss to a lesser fighter. Imagine losing to bisbing and he nearly lost to brunson :scusthov:of all ppl, since the 2nd weidman fight he just cant pull the trigger and his chin is gone. I would've preferred if it was jones.

As bad as the losses are, I don't think anything would be worse than that second PED test. The first one was returning from an absolute horror show injury but this second one woulda put his whole career in question with regard to PED use (granted it's easy to question literally everyone back then). Dude is one of my all time favorites but even I had to fall back with that second fail.

hes a supposed 2nd offender for it just to have been a year (retroactive) doesnt that mean there was a grey area?

Contaminated supplement, they sent the supplement to USADA to have it tested and the shyt he tested positive for was found in it. Same deal as JDS, Romero, Barnett, etc.
i know his defence is he unknowingly took the supplement thinking it was clean but as a 2nd offender they are suppose to have thrown the book at him. For him to have just got a year most of which was retroactive indicates some room of doubt. The other examples have only been caught once since USADA and the ufc partnered up

First failure was pre-USADA though, not sure if it makes a difference but technically he's only failed once under their program

How could his first failure be pre USADA when it was for the tests he did post nick diaz fight which was 2015. USADA became ufc's in house drug testing committee 2014. It makes a big difference thats why jones penalty will be interesting.

Nope, USADA didnt become UFC's in house drug testing partner until July 1, 2015

Anderson Silva receives one-year suspension by USADA for contaminated supplement, eligible to return in November

This isn’t Silva’s first time having issues with drug tests. Back in January 2015, before the UFC partnered with USADA, the Brazilian super star failed a drug test for the steroids drostanolone and androsterone in an in-competition test for his fight against Nick Diaz at UFC 183. Silva was suspended by the Nevada Athletic Commission for one year

damn, this could be the best fox card ever. Im hype as fukk for this. Had no idea any of these fights were happening. All 3 of these could be co-main events for a pay per view.

The Alvarez fight should be a great match, both dudes like to fight and have great mma IQs
Aldo should run a clinic on stephens, just pick him apart all night
JJ has something to prove, this fight starts her road back to the top
