Cowboy chopped Eddie down like a tree too ! I'm really hoping they have a better idea for Nate, but with their strategies lately I doubt it unless we get something like a Kevin Lee fight purely for the prefight antics.

With JJ, I just think Rose had her timing from jump. Rose said something similar on the Rogan podcast and Pat Barry followed it up with something along the lines of "we knew everything she was gonna do." That's the biggest danger for a champ, fighters are prepping for you well in advance. I don't think Joanna wins the fight on her back foot because Rose's footwork is so good at throwing a fighter off balance (it's insane how she can break rhythms just by how much weight she puts on her lead leg), so I'd be looking for a forward moving strategy but with a LOT of feints. Maybe close distance looking for a body lock or two that can force some clinch work, JJ is a demon in the clinch and could maybe press Rose back to the cage where Rose wouldn't have the space to fake her ot.

Joanna ain't beating Rose anyway imo. They need to focus on building up Rose. She's had anti-bullying and anti-abuse messages behind her past fights, they should probably ride the fact that she seems like a good role model as opposed to a Ronda Rousey.

I like Rose alot but shes still mostly hype in my eyes. i put no stake in her beating the shyt out of Watersons little ass. Waterson was just another Paige Vanzant getting pushed because of looks.
Joanna says she had a real bad weight cut and I believe her, Rose has never displayed that kinda punching power and I've watched Joanna take punches from real killers and not react like that.

If Rose can do it again, i'll buy into her being the new queen

Interesting... not really a fan of this but I also see it as a way for Rose to cover her base, double down and not pull a Holm and lose the next fight.

Joanna got dropped by Claudia off a jab, rocked by slap hitting Karol and fell back into the cage, and got dropped by Rose even before getting KO'd. I'm not gonna act like I'm actually sitting around watching a ton of 115lb fights, but I've never seen any of these other jawns getting rocked like that off of single shots except Joanna. It wouldn't surprise me it she gets taken out again, Rose had her timing all fukked up with her movement, she was giving her a different challenge than Claudia and Andrade moving in straight lines like cavemen.

It just might be the thugs time, Joanna has been through a lot of wars. At some point those battles add up, I think that ko is a bad sign of things coming for her. I think it's all downhill from here.

I think it's just Rose's style of fighting that counters JJ perfectly. I do think Andrade beats her but it's rock-paper-scissors between the three JJ, Rose and Andrade. Claudia the jury's out to me, the Karolina performance was impressive and she's given JJ wars but her actual record ain't all that to me. Claudia low key has a light resume herself but it's debatable (and it's also just part of being in a shallow division that's only getting deeper now). Claudia has Karolina and Rose has Tecia Torres. Claudia's next best win is Cortney Casey, Rose has Waterson which I think is closer to a wash. They both have fairly soft schedules but Rose has the JJ KO and an insane finishing rate. I get the skepticism for sure, but I think Rose is a fighter finally hitting her potential.
