I had originally wrote Branch off because of how ugly his last fight was but he has a style that tends to neutralize his opponent's offense and he has the right folks in his team to easily pick out Rockhold's weaknesses with his boxing so that he can be countered.

A friend of mine trained with him in the past, so I'm biased as hell...Branch is a really disciplined fighter, so I'm hoping he makes it competitive and gets more opportunities to make some noise.

Who is max Holloway though? He's drawability is unknown at this point. All he really has as a bargaining chip are things this new regime and today's ufc don't value. You think they would lose sleep over shelving the FW for a year while this Doug character looking mofo plays hard ball?

They can't just shelf him, his contract's up. It'd be a horrendous look to lose a current champion fresh off finishing Jose Aldo to a rival and it's bound to be Bellator if that does happen.

^^Yeah, I imagine it is just a matter of time before he gets a new deal. I can't imagine they would let him walk away. He should fight Frankie Edgar before the year is up.

Oh that's right, Frankie was supposed to be next. I think Max is Frankie 2.0 so I was interested in seeing how that would go down. I think Max could/would be the first to finish Frankie.
