Colbey Northcutt, Sage’s sister, set to make pro MMA debut in June
Another member of the famed Northcutt family is coming to professional mixed martial arts.
Colbey Northcutt, the older sister of UFC fighter Sage Northcutt, will make her pro MMA debut in June for Legacy Fighting Alliance, MMA Fighting has learned. LFA has four events scheduled for June, so it’s unclear at this time which card she’ll be competing on. Her opponent has yet to be finalized, as well.
Northcutt, 24, has been practicing martial arts since she was seven years old. According to her father Mark, she has over a dozen titles in point and continuous fighting and was named Black Belt Magazine’s Competitor of the Year in 2009. Northcutt has a purple belt in jiu-jitsu, and is a third degree in Taekwondo and a fourth degree in Kajukenbo.
She holds a 4-1 amateur MMA record, although she hasn’t competed since 2014 because she decided to take some time off to focus on her academics.
Northcutt is scheduled to compete at 135 pounds.
Looks more masculine than Sage :simeone:
