Im hearing it was Rumble Johnson, but now im being told he's :manny:
Were you talking skill or impact cuz if it's the latter no doubt. But I wouldn't say AJ is a highly skilled technical striker

Brehs...who's the best black striker in the UFC?:lupe:

I bought UFC 2 so that way I can talk more UFC in 2017 with at least the knowledge of who is who (right now, I maybe know 5-7 UFC fighters in total), but I need a fighter to stan...preferably one with great striking ability since Ima a Boxing Fanatic:ohhh:

Put me on to the best strikers brehs:patrice:

My boy crossing over. Im so proud. We can all be a fan of both sports. Start off by watching the replay of UFC 206 on Fox this Saturday night at 8. 4 great fights to watch will be on.

As far as black fighters, right now its basically Rumble Johnson. Dude has one hitter quitter in his hands. The next kid on the block is heavyweight Francis Ngannou though. This kid is gonna be a problem soon. Watch out for him.

Skill...I preferred skilled standup technicians (Boxing head here), so the closest to a skilled standup striker I can get, the easier it will be for me to integrate into the MMA threads, because I will at least have a fighter I understand:heh:

I know 0 about Muay Thai, jeet kwon do (?), all the other arts that people practice besides wrestling & Boxing. Ima pure casual, at this point, but since the UFC is growing at such a fast pace here in the US, I might as well start talking about it as well and get acquainted with the sport/brand:obama:

First off :salute:. It's about time to give MMA the respect they deserve and they have definitely been holding it down for the Combat sports lovers for a while now while . Plus, Im intrigued and wanna know what Im missing out on:lupe:

The guy bolded, I just looked him up and it seems he's new enough to the UFC to where I wont feel like a bandwagoner stanning him, plus he does have good standup skill it seems:ohhh::lawd:

Im going to watch the fight you suggested on Saturday as well:blessed:

Thanks breh and Im going to be in here all the time as well now:obama:

No doubt, fam. Your knowledge of combat sports is more then welcome over here too. And yeah, Ngannou is a monster. They are really starting to prop him up. (His next fight is Jan 28th)

All 4 fights that will be shown Saturday were great. Make sure you watch the Cub Swanson/Dooho Choi fight. For a boxing fan, that is something that you will want to see. Probably the fight of the year in the UFC to be honest. The other 3 fights will be great too.

Welcome to the community. Heres to great boxing and UFC in 2017!

Best Black striker left is probably Anthony Rumble Johnson, Lorenz Larkin is more technically skilled imo but he's a free agent right now and its looking unlikely he returns to the UFC.

Demetrious johnson is one of the most technical strikers period regardless of race. Number 1 p4p w jon jones out. Tyron woodley isnt the most technical but he is like a rumble light at 170. Hes the champ too. Jon jones will always be a factor, probably the best fighter ever. Rumble is a fun fighter to stan cause he either gonna ko you or not. I like DC but people dont for some reason probably cause hes a grappler, his standup is solid but nothing to brag about. Michael venom page is probably the most exciting but he fights for bellator and been fighting cans

Id say just keep watching an stan regardless of race but if not the fighters above are some of the best in the world.

Id say if you looking to stan a someone with a boxing base youd probably enjoy watching conor. Talks shyt backs it up his stans are the fukkin worst tho

EDIT: my breh aredy got the francis avi

His highlights were just too :whoo: plus the fact he's never been a Champion before, and just starting off in the UFC 1 year ago (and MMA period 4 years ago), it seems like the most reasonable pick...plus he had dreams of being a Boxer:ehh:

I don't pick fighters who were already successful and then stan them...I like to enjoy the journey on the Road to the Championship with someone who's never been there before:manny:

@Newzz another breh to check for is Israel Adesanya, he's not in the UFC but he wants to be and he does kickboxing/boxing/MMA, he's fighting for a title in Glory Kickboxing next month. He grew up an Anderson Silva stan so he moves alot like him and got that swag to him.

In terms of Muay Thai striking Edson Barboza is one of the most technical and exciting fighters you'll find in the sport. If I was going to show somebody a tape of how to use Muay Thai effectively in MMA, Barboza would be one of the first guys I went to. For somebody just getting in the sport I would recommend checking out
