There needs to be a tiered point system. They shouldn't be equal. And the result should matter too. Or else Daniel Cormier can just take his opponent down, let them up, then take them down over and over again at will and just run up his score.I have a question, if a takedown is scored, then should a stuffed takedown also be scored?
If you go for a takedown and don't succeed, shouldn't that count towards the opponent...?
Who is that clown you dudes are posting up here. If it ain't Helwani it ain't true
Dude is legit! Shyt even Ariel credits him here and there when it comes to his info. Outside of the bullshyt that he posted today he's been reliable. He fukked up with this one with that he said she said nonsense.

Agreed.
I think it's a pretty big flaw in judging. A lot of times fighters are not rewarded for stuffing takedowns. It seems like you can stuff 6 of 7 TDs and judges will put more weight on that 1 TD you couldn't stop, rather than the 6 you did. Just my thoughts.
Good question. At present time I don't think it's a rule but that would make sense. Another thing I think should be considered more is damage done from the bottom such as in full guard. Anderson did a lot of damage on Chael from full guard and I don't believe it was considered.I have a question, if a takedown is scored, then should a stuffed takedown also be scored?
